Oh !!! I Heard Something In Hindi

Daily Prompt: Head Turners

We often hear strange snippets of conversation as we walk through public spaces. When was the last time you overheard something so interesting, ridiculous, or disturbing you really wanted to know what it was all about?

********************************************************************************************************************************************************

I am not going to mention the most recent incident but the most interesting incident that ever happened to me.

After completing my 4 months training in Bangalore my first posting was in Chennai. Along-with my 18 friends I reached Chennai with mixed emotions cause it was the farthest place from my home town taking 44 hours by train.

After reaching there it was all about people speaking in their native language i.e. Tamil. I also tried to learn it but it was very tough.

One day me and my friend were coming back from office in a shared tempo where we had couple of more people sitting inside. All of a sudden we both heard something in Hindi (that’s our mother tongue). It was a “Head Turner” for both of us as it was very first time after 4 months we heard something in Hindi in public places.

So I found it the most interesting Head Turner for me so far even after 6 years.

  1. I recently heard to employees of the company I work for, talk about how worried they were because they did something that they weren’t supposed to.
